Information we collect

The quote form asks for your name, email, suburb, property address, service of interest and any project details you choose to provide. The address is needed to assess the property and prepare the quote; it is not displayed publicly. Optional fields may include a phone number, power-supply type, existing solar and an indicative bill range. The form also records the page from which the enquiry was sent and, when present, limited campaign parameters and the referring website so PSA can understand how enquiries arrive.

Why we collect it

PSA uses this information to respond to your enquiry, assess the requested service, prepare or improve a quote, organise accepted work, provide support, manage business records and meet legal obligations.

How it is stored

Website enquiries are stored in the site’s protected database and are available through an owner-only inbox. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Form security

PSA uses Cloudflare Turnstile and limited request information to reduce spam and automated abuse. The security token is checked but not stored with your enquiry. A one-way, pseudonymous network-address hash is used in short rate-limit buckets that expire within 48 hours. Expired records are ignored and removed in bounded housekeeping during later website traffic; the raw network address is not stored with the lead.

Email notifications and enquiries

PSA uses EmailJS with its Hostinger email service to send the sales team a copy of your website enquiry. Direct enquiries sent to PSA’s sales or leads mailbox may also be copied into PSA’s private operations system so the team can follow them up. This does not send an automatic reply or alter the original email. These providers process the contact and project information needed for that work. Your website enquiry reference is displayed after submission; an automatic customer email receipt is not currently sent.

Website AI assistant

If you use the optional Ask PSA assistant, the recent chat messages needed to answer your question are sent to OpenAI for automated processing. PSA does not save the chat transcript in its lead database and uses the API with response storage turned off. Choosing “Talk to a real person” opens PSA’s normal protected enquiry form; only the details you knowingly submit there are saved and emailed, and the chat transcript is not attached. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models unless the account holder opts in; its default abuse-monitoring logs may retain prompts and responses for up to 30 days, or longer where required by law or necessary for safety. Because OpenAI and supporting cloud providers operate internationally, chat information may be processed outside Australia; provider locations and subprocessors can change. Short pseudonymous rate-limit records expire within 48 hours. Do not enter a full address, bills, passwords, payment details, identity documents or other sensitive information in the AI chat. The assistant provides general guidance only; a chat becomes an enquiry only when you submit the protected form or email PSA.

Sharing

Your enquiry may be shared with staff, contractors or service providers who need it to respond, quote, install, operate the website or support the requested work, subject to applicable privacy obligations.

Photos and documents

If you choose to send switchboard, inverter, roof or power-bill photos through WhatsApp or email, those services also process the information under their own privacy terms. Avoid including information that is not needed for the quote.

Access, correction or deletion
